Rests can be just as much of a problem as the notes. Often, students (and professionals) can find them tricky, as they seem more variable and less physical than note values, which are clearer because you’re actually playing those. The gaps can be harder to read and learn than the dots. So here are 8 studies with the emphasis on the spaces between the notes.
